We opened the doors for Nifty Nail Thursday 10:30am! We were set till Noon, lunch and after lunch we had an additional request and we met their needs! We absolutely love Nifty Nail Thursday!
Ms. Cole had a great time putting together this puzzle together, she mentioned she wasn't much of a puzzler; however, she/we were proud of her success!
Today we served Banana Smoothies for our residents and patients and of course I put a spin on it and added Chocolate Ice Cream and they all loved it! One resident, Darlene bragged on how I create some good eats!
Today, we celebrate and thank Evette Butts as she moves on from Inova Mount Vernon after years of dedicated service and commitment to our community.
Evette has been an exceptional community partner to us at Hillvalley, and especially to George Washington Health and Rehabilitation Center. Through her work in case management—and her experience working with GW as well—she brought compassion, understanding, and a genuine commitment to helping people navigate difficult circumstances and making their lives a little easier.
Beyond her professional role, Evette has been an amazing community advocate and someone who consistently went above and beyond to support the people and communities she served.
As she leaves the Northern Virginia area to begin her next chapter, we want to say thank you, Evette, for your years of service, partnership, advocacy, and friendship.

This past Sunday, September 27th, we had the pleasure of hearing and seeing NOVA Youth in full concert, it was such an awesome performance! The residents, patients and our staff truly enjoyed them, and we look forward with excitement and expectation! 😀
